  Sailing to Victoria Island

  After picking up the passengers, we head to Puerto Pañuelo to begin a 40-minute sail across Lake Nahuel Huapi towards Victoria Island and the mythical Arrayanes Forest.

  Exploring Victoria Island

  We disembark at Puerto Anchorena and take a walk of approximately one hour along trails surrounded by native flora and fauna. We arrive at Playa del Toro, where rock paintings made by indigenous peoples can be seen in a setting of volcanic sand.

  Arrayanes Forest

  Returning to the catamaran, we sail to the Quetrihué Peninsula to enter the famous Arrayanes Forest. There, the distinctive quetri or arrayán tree, with its reddish bark and white flowers, forms a one-of-a-kind forest in the world. We walk 45 minutes along trails through this magical environment.

  Return to Puerto Pañuelo

  At the end of the visit, and after enjoying a break at the tea house, we begin the return sail to Puerto Pañuelo. For those who have chosen the transfer option, a bus will be waiting to take them back to Bariloche.

  • Is the excursion canceled due to rain or snow?

    The excursion takes place under any weather conditions. Rain, snow, and strong winds are common in Patagonia. Schedules may be modified due to trail closures or at the discretion of the operating companies.

  • Does the excursion include National Park entrance and boarding fees?

    The excursion does not include National Park entrance or boarding fees. The National Park entrance cost can be checked at the following link: https://nahuelhuapi.gov.ar/tarifas-de-ingreso/. Additionally, the boarding fee is $2,600. Both the National Park entrance and the boarding fee must be paid in cash on the day of the excursion at the port.

  • Is transfer to the excursion site included?

    Transfer is not included in the excursion. The boats depart from Puerto Pañuelo, located 25 km from the city. If you do not have your own transportation, we recommend booking the excursion with transfer included.
