Andean Crossing Itinerary
Begin the journey in Bariloche heading towards Puerto Varas. From Puerto Pañuelo, sail across Lake Nahuel Huapi to Puerto Blest, then continue by bus to Puerto Alegre to cross Lake Frías. After completing migration procedures, travel through the Valdivian rainforest in a 4×4 until you reach Villa Peulla. Conclude the journey with a boat ride on Lake Todos los Santos and a land transfer to Puerto Varas.

Lake Crossing and Valdivian Rainforest
From Puerto Blest, a bus takes you to Puerto Alegre to embark on a 30-minute navigation across Lake Frías. After completing migration procedures, the journey continues by 4×4 vehicle through the Valdivian rainforest to Villa Peulla.
Final Stretch to Puerto Varas
After lunch in Villa Peulla, the tour continues with a navigation across Lake Todos los Santos to Petrohué. From there, the final land segment includes an optional stop at the Petrohué Falls, ending in Puerto Varas.

You will need to go through Customs and Immigration controls in both Argentina and Chile. It is essential to correctly enter all passengers’ information when making your reservation. A passport, DNI, or RUT will be sufficient. If traveling with minors, you must have the necessary documentation for their departure from the country. Additionally, we recommend checking with your country’s authorities whether any additional documents are required based on your nationality.

Is it possible to stay overnight during the excursion?
Since the tour is an extensive journey, it does not return to Bariloche the same day. A recommended option is to stay overnight at Hotel Puerto Blest, from where you can explore the beautiful surroundings, which feature several trails and trekking routes.

Is transportation to the starting point included?
Yes, transportation is included. Please note: the Andean Crossing is booked in segments, so you may choose a one-way or round-trip option. For non-residents of Argentina, 50% of the cost must be paid for the return segment. There is also a special promotion for Argentine and Chilean passengers, who can enjoy the return trip free of charge.

Are the national park entrance fee and boarding tax included?
The boarding tax costs ARS 2600 and must be paid by all passengers aged 2 and older. Payment is made in cash only at the port on the day of the excursion. Since passengers are considered to be in transit, no entrance fee to the National Park is required.
